Douglas B. Large, Of Counsel

Mr. Large was a senior partner at Archbald & Spray LLP. He has been selected as one of California’s Super Lawyers for employment law and has earned the Martindale-Hubble “AV” distinction as a preeminent attorney. His practice is focused on labor and employment law for management and on the energy and hospitality industries. He provides preventative counseling and litigation expertise to employers in all areas of employment law and the myriad work place regulations. He staffs both the Santa Barbara Human Resources Association’s and the Human Resources Association of the Central Coast’s Guide Line Services, which are complimentary “help lines” for members with employment law questions.

He represents hoteliers and restaurateurs in all commercial and employment matters. In the energy arena, Mr. Large represents oil and gas industry clients on natural resources and regulatory compliance issues, ground/mineral leases, commercial disputes, environmental claims, and in tort litigation.

Mr. Large has developed substantial experience defending class action litigation in diverse areas, including shareholder litigation, false advertising, wage and hour, and unfair business practices.
